NYCR Camp at Hydrotechnics Festival 2017

Hydrotechnics Festival 2017 is back this July 21st to 23rd for its most epic year yet and NYCR Camp will be right at the heart of it. NYCR Camp has been bringing NYC to the wilderness since Desiderata in 2009, since then its been a long crazy road, our biggest achievent being hosting a stage at Electric Adventure in 2015; however our main goal is to provide a dope safe(ish) environment for our friends and followers to party at and congregate.

A note re this year at Hydro : Mark my words I have been to many a festival and watched them grow, this is the year you want to go to. Do it. Embrace true underground rave culture, not that mainstream greedy festival scene garbage! With over 70 underground DJS, an amazing venue, car camping, electricity and a close to NYC location, you really should come with us.

This year we may or may not be doing some kinda music stage (who knows?) but we have formed up like some kind of rave voltron (Ravetron?) with Long Island Treats and Zen Co to bring you our most epic and feature filled theme camp ever.. ever.

So far we’ve got projectors, video games, blacklights, canopies, art sculpture installations, jello wrestling jello and the RETURN of 2k’s giant ass fancy wooden pusheen! But MORE IS BETTER, so camp with us, bring your cool shit, your skills, your vibes and lets have an unforgettable amazing experience!

Anyone is welcome to camp with us NYC or not as long as you bring good vibes, leave no trace and contribute somehow.

Echo lake is a scenic camground with ample wooded car camping and lakeside camp sites available. We have indoor plumbing and free hot water showers in addition to electricity throughout the site. There will be plenty of food vendors as well.

[divider]5 Reasons To Go To Hydrotechnics[/divider]

1. It is NOT CRAZY FAR from NYC… Its like 3.5 Hours from NYC, and all the rave active crews from NYC are going AND collaborating on this epic ass campsite that this event page is for..

2. You can CAR CAMP.. You can bring your car into the campgrounds which is around a beautiful lake and car camping is not an extra fee (like 99% of other festivals). OR there are $60/night hotels nearby…

3. There is ELECTRICITY at 1/2 the campsites… I’m not talking like a lil ass generator, hard wired electricity freaking everywhere…. We had 2 different 20Amp circuits last year and we were just at a regular campsite area.

4. A kickass OLD SCHOOL RAVE LINEUP. You know how I know its old school? We were booking these guys like 9 years ago when Jeff, Ritalin and I were throwing events on the regular. Donald Glaude is top tier, DJ Rap was one of the first dnb djs I ever got into… It’ll be good and I am making a downloadable APP for it so you can plan your weekend (or at least try).

5. Its the ONLY TRUE UNDERGROUND Festival in NY (that I know of). Its thrown by honest hardworking OG rave promoters, people who have bled for rave culture (literally, I’ve seen it) and aren’t in it for the wrong reasons.

So f*ck whatever other plans you had if you had any, (you can maybe still do them), you need to goto at least part of Hydrotechnics Festival. I’ve even got a limited to 50 $10 off cucaw code on tickets for ya. (which I turned down commission as to save ya’ll a lil more $ because thats how much I want you to experience this with us).
